This pillow was too soft! It needs to be firm enough to keep your knees apart which is the whole purpose in using a leg pillow in the first place. This pillow was so soft that my knees ended up mashing it within minutes and therefore my knees were touching and the pillow was useless. I don’t recommend this for anyone who needs a pillow for knee support for proper spine alignment and back health.

I have had a couple pillows of this sort. This one is perfect for me precisely because it is relatively soft and it isn’t too thick. I am about 5 ft 8 in and 180 pounds, so not a huge man, but not small. I have knee problems and also a vascular malformation on one lower leg, as well as knobby knees. When I sleep on my side and my knees are together, I often have problems with lateral pressure on one knee, pressure between the knees causing blood stasis in the VM, or other problems. These are enough that I often have trouble sleeping or am awakened by pain. I sometimes sleep with a regular pillow between my legs, which has helped a lot, but it is very awkward under the covers. I tried a similar type of contour leg pillow that had much denser foam and was much thicker, but it was too dense and too thick — my legs just didn’t feel comfortable with it, though I slept a little better. So I was looking for a thinner, softer pillow, which this is.
The bottom line is that these sorts of things depend a lot on personal preference, the size of the individual, why you need a leg pillow, etc.

This is a really soft pillow, with a very nice soft cover. Unfortunately, the inside is too soft to provide enough support for most people. When I put it between my legs, it gets compressed too easily and my legs touch, which is not what is supposed to happen. This leg pillow doesn’t provide enough support to keep your legs apart while sleeping.

It is comfortable and doing the trick. It was for my girl, but sometimes (when she looses it at night) I get to use it too. It is small enough that it does not bother me. The only thing is that smell of new from the foam, but I know that goes away after a while. Can’t you remove that before hand?

I had tried a similar products some years ago that helped me only slightly but the description of this product prompted me to try it out and I am very favorable impressed. The pillow fits easily between my knees at night and has really decreased my morning hip aches. This type of memory foam seems to mold readily to my particular physique and aligns both my knee and hip joints so that I don’t develope the throbbing sciatic pain that I have had for several years. The velour cover is soft and is easily removed for washing. I plan to order one for a friend who had back surgery 2 years ago and suffers from fibromyalgia. I hope it helps her to sleep well, too.
